It's the technology that automatically divides the value of a transaction among multiple recipients the moment the payment is approved. Each participant receives their share directly, with no manual transfer and without the amount needing to pass through an intermediary account.

It means that when the customer pays via Pix, the division among recipients happens within the transaction itself, not afterward. Other platforms receive the full amount first and then transfer it in a second step, manually or semi-automatically. At Appmax that doesn't exist: the Pix already arrives split for each recipient.

Responsibility for chargebacks lies entirely with the producer (the marketplace or main operator), regardless of the number of recipients involved. Refunds are processed proportionally among all recipients, following exactly the original division of the transaction. After the refund is confirmed, the corresponding amounts are automatically debited from each split participant's balance.
