Introducing: the definitive recurring billing for Shopify
The only one with automatic charge retries and recovery powered by Artificial Intelligence: more conversion, less cancellation.
- Automatic billing you set up the plan once. Appmax charges every cycle, with no human intervention.
- Smart retries charge declined? The system tries again in up to 3 automatic rounds, every 24h, maximizing the chance of approval.
- AI recovery if no retry succeeds, the AI steps in via WhatsApp: it talks to the customer, re-engages and recovers the subscription. Less involuntary churn, more revenue back.
- Full management in the dashboard total revenue, churn, new subscriptions, average ticket and recovery, all in a single dashboard.
Sell subscription products directly through your Shopify store, with all of Appmax's payment, anti-fraud and recovery infrastructure
From the first purchase to higher LTV, without friction.
See how a subscription works end to end:
- 1
Customer subscribes
The customer makes the purchase normally through your store's checkout. At that moment, the card is securely tokenized. No data is exposed. No additional action required from you.
- 2
Automatic billing on the next cycle
On the renewal date you set, Appmax processes the charge automatically. The customer doesn't have to do anything. Neither do you.
- 3
Charge failed? Appmax intelligence solves it
If the payment doesn't go through, expired card, maxed-out limit, bank instability, the system starts up to 3 automatic attempts, every 24 hours, seeking approval before any communication with the customer.
- 4
Still not approved? AI steps in
If the retries don't solve it, AI recovery via WhatsApp is activated. The agent talks naturally, understands the problem and re-engages the subscriber, with the card update link right in the conversation.
- 5
Customer updates the card → billing reactivated instantly
As soon as the new card is registered, the charge happens immediately. No delay. No lost cycle.
Result: more active subscriptions, less cancellation, and no customer left behind.

Everything you need to know about recurring payments at Appmax

It's the model in which the customer authorizes an automatic periodic charge, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual or annual. After the first purchase, every following charge happens without the customer needing to act again.

In the Shopify integration, Appmax performs up to 3 automatic charge attempts every 24 hours. If none succeeds, the AI recovery system steps in via WhatsApp, re-engaging the customer and offering the link to update the card. When the new card is registered, billing is reactivated immediately.
-
Yes. The subscriber has access to an exclusive area where they can manage their own subscription, including cancellation or reactivation, card update and billing history, all without having to reach support.

-
No. If you use Shopify or another integrated platform, activation is done without code. For API integrations, the process is straightforward and documented. In any case, the Appmax team is available to help.

They are opposite models. With installments, the customer splits a fixed amount into parts, the total debt is already defined from the first charge and ends when the installments are over. With recurring billing, the customer subscribes to a plan and is charged automatically every cycle while the subscription is active, with no end date and no pre-set total amount. A customer paying in 12x leaves in month 13. A recurring subscriber stays as long as the service delivers value.
